Seth Freeman is a writer of fiction, a playwright, a journalist, and a writer/producer of television, for which he created the series Lincoln Heights. His work has appeared in The New York Times, Southern Theatre Magazine, The Wall Street Journal, The Los Angeles Times, Stars and Stripes, California Magazine, Los Angeles Magazine, the Huffington Post, The Hill, and YaleGlobal, among other periodicals. His writing for stage, screen and television has been honored with numerous awards, including multiple Emmys, Golden Globes, Writers Guild Awards, P.E.N., First Amendment, Peabody and others. He contributes non-writing time to community and international organizations focused on health care, education, the empowerment of women, and human rights, and he is presently a graduate student at UCLA.
