Siamak Vossoughi was born in Tehran, grew up in Seattle, and lives in San Francisco. He has had stories published in Glimmer Train, Missouri Review, Kenyon Review Online, Chattahoochee Review, and other journals. His collection, Better Than War, received a Flannery O’Connor Award for Short Fiction and was shortlisted for the William Saroyan International Prize for Writing. He is a 2018 Bread Loaf Fellow and is at work on a novel.
